Dimensions The plant size is chosen to enable installation in basements. A basement with a minimum height of 2.05 m and minimum width of 0.8 m is required. Space requirements The space requirements are dependent upon the plant size. Examples: 5,000 [l] daily output = approx. 20 m2 10,000 [l] daily output = approx. 25 m2 20,000 [l] daily output = approx. 35 m2 Materials Only environmentally sound and corrosion resistant materials are employed: polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) tanks, PE bio-rotors, stainless steel V4A shafts and bearings, zinc-plated steel fittings for the tanks, and PE, PP, stainless steel and copper piping. UV-Disinfection The UV-reactors are manufactured from high-grade industrial components, adapted for the low output level of graywater recycling-plants. The easily interchangeable quartz UV-lamps have under continuous operation a life span of approximately one year. Regulations The plant technology meets the requirements of the technical rules of the DIN 1988, part 4, and the DIN 1986. Operation An easily understandable and detailed operation and maintenance manual is included. The maintenance personnel will receive precise instructions while the plant is brought into service. The annual maintenance can be performed by the manufacturer. Miscellaneous The rooms should be ventilated. Specific safety measures and the like are not necessary.
